Number of virus cases in Male' at 49 as two more test positive

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has confirmed that two more people had tested positive for Covid-19.

HPA announced that a local and Bangladeshi national had tested positive for the virus, marking 49 cases from the capital.

Male City has confirmed 17 positive cases today alone and authorities are working to establish links between these two cases and others.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the capital has increased to 49 now. The total figure for the whole country stands at 69. The country has also had 16 recoveries from the virus and currently has 51 active cases.
