Covid-19 case in Anantara confirmed, total cases at 9

A foreigner who was tested for the Covid-19 disease in the resort of Anantara Dhigu has tested positive for the disease, HPA has announced.

With the result, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has risen to nine.

Authorities also announced that contact tracing of the person had led to 11 others being placed in isolation.

The island is now being monitored by authorities.
