The world’s largest seaplane operator, Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has added two more aircrafts to its impressive fleet.
The two aircrafts, which were brought in on Friday, December 27, expands the TMA’s fleet to 55 aircrafts.
It marked the first time for the airline to bring in two aircrafts at once, having previously had only expanded its fleet one aircraft at a time.
Today is an important day for us, as we welcome 2 aircraft together to the fleet for the first time in the expansion history of #TMA.

TMA reports the expansion of its fleet was driven by the desire to expanding its operations to the new resorts scheduled to open next year, alongside boosting customer convenience and service quality.
Maldives has total three seaplane operators, including the TMA.
