Nine arrested in connection with gang violence in G.Dh. Rathafandhoo

Police have made nine arrests in connection with gang fights that occurred in G.Dh Rathafandhoo.

A 20-year old local man was arrested in one such incident yesterday. Gang fights also broke between two groups in the island last Sunday and Police arrested eight people in connection with the fights. The men arrested were aged between 20 and 27 years.

Police are further investigating the incidents.
