The latest records released by the Police Traffic Management Department show 557 vehicles were issued stickers for parking violations in the one-week period from October 26 – November 1.
Total 621 vehicles were checked in past one-week period in Male’ City and its suburbs, while 14 people were injured in 56 traffic accidents.
The police seized the driving license of nine people in connection to these traffic accidents.
Meanwhile, the police also attended to 39 cases of driving without possession of driving license, and 69 cases of unlicensed driving, in addition to 19 cases of using headset or phone while driving, and four cases of driving without the mandatory helmet.
The police also attended to four cases of illegal taxiing and five cases of vehicle overloading, also, during the same period.
