Escaped convict from Asseyri Jail captured

A convict who escaped from the Asseyri Jail in K. Himmafushi has been captured and returned to the jail.

Police have stated that they received a report around 10:08 last night that the convict had escaped and found the escapee still on the island around 10:13.

Police have stated that the convict has now been returned to the jail.
