Search underway for couple lost at sea

Authorities have begun search efforts for a couple that went snorkeling from Moofushi resort in Alif Alif Atoll.

MNDF stated that the two tourists were reported missing to its Maritime Rescue Coordination Center around 11:19 in the morning. MNDF also informed that the two tourists went snorkeling in the lagoon of the resort and its divers and Velana launch were now searching for the couple.
