President, First Lady to exchange Eid al-Fitr greetings with public

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed will be exchanging Eid al-Fitr greetings with the public at their official residence, Mulee’aage, says the President’s Office.

The President and First Lady will be receiving members of the general public at Mulee’aage to exchange Eid greetings from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Eid al-Fitr.

The invitation to exchange Eid greetings with the President and First Lady is open to all Maldivians indiscriminate of age, as well as members of foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations and members of non-governmental organizations.

Eid greetings with the public, during former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s administration, wasn’t held at the residence of the President, but at the public park, Rasrani Bageecha.

Eid al-Fitr this year falls on June 4.
