Motorcyclist loses control of vehicle, crashes into a café in Male’ City

A motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle and crashed a café in Male’ City this Tuesday morning.

Maldives Police Service says the incident was reported to the authority at 9:30 am.

The motorcyclist has been identified by MPS as a 44-year-old.

He had lost control just as he inserted the key into the ignition and attempted to drive the vehicle. The vehicle had crashed right into the Moon Café and Hotel, shattering its glass doors.

The motorcyclist sustained no serious injury.
