Suspect arrested after fight at Alimas Carnival leaves teen injured

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fight which broke out at the Alimas Carnival in Male’ City in the early hours of this Saturday morning.

Maldives Police Service reports the incident took place at approximately 5 am.

The agency now has a 21-year-old man in custody in connection with the case.

The fight at Alimas Carnival resulted in injuries to a boy below the age of 18 years, who was taken to ADK Hospital for treatment.
