Two people have been hospitalized with injures after an accident on the Hulhumale’ Highway this Thursday morning.
The two victims have been identified as a 29-year-old and a 36-year-old – both from L. Kalaidhoo – and driving a motorcycle over on the highway between Male’ City and Hulhumale’.
Aasandha Company, which runs the Hulhumale’ Hospital, says the two accident victims were brought in to the hospital on a MTTC private hire vehicle at 5:30 am.
One of the two victims, the 36-year-old, has been severely injured, says Aasandha Company.
“Both sustained injuries. The injuries to the 36-year-old are more severe,” said a media official from Aasandha Company who spoke to ‘Sun’.
The two accident victims have now been transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ City for further treatment.
