Storage unit at Kuredu Resort burns down in fire

The storage unit at the gift shop on Lh. Kuredu Island Resort & Spa burned down in a fire in the early hours of this Thursday.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) says the fire was reported to the authority at 12:48 am.

Authorities managed to put out the fire completely at 4 am.

No one was harmed in the incident, but the fire resulted in massive damage to the products stored inside the unit, says MNDF.
