Gemanafushi and Maamendhoo sewerage projects awarded to SJ

The sewerage system projects in Gaafu Gemanafushi and Gaafu Alifu Maamendhoo has been contracted to SJ Construction PLC. 

At a ceremony held at the Environment Ministry today, the agreement was signed by the Environment Minister Thoriq IBrahim and the Managing Director of SJ Construction, MOhamed Shaahid. 

Speaking at the ceremony after the signing, Minister Thoriq said that the government of President Yameen has put forth numerous efforts to provide sufficient water and sewerage systems in all the islands. And the efforts has reached massive success. 

The projects are worth MVR 22,281,512.70 and is contracted to be completed in nine months.
