Pedestrian hit by motorcycle dies in Hulhumale’

The 24-year-old man hit by a motorcycle in the roadside accident which took place in Hulhumale’ last Saturday night passed away due to the seriousness of the injuries he sustained during the collision.

The 24-year-old man was walking down the street near Amin Avenue when he was hit by a motorcycle.

The man was first taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital from where he was transferred to the Tree Top Hospital. He passed away while being treated at the Tree Top Hospital.

Two others - both 18-year-old young men – were also injured in the collision. One of the young men is being treated at ADK Hospital in Male’ City, while the other is being treated at Hulhumale’ Hospital.

The media official at Aasandha Company, which runs Hulhumale’ Hospital, Ashiya Solih reported to “Sun” that the two young men suffered no serious injury.
