DJA’s Spokesperson Faisal released from police custody

Spokesperson at Department of Judicial Administration (DJA), Faisal Adam was released from police custody this Monday morning.

“Sun” has been informed the police questioned Faisal and took his statement. The case Faisal was questioned in connection with is unclear at his point.

Faisal was arrested after the police conducted a search of his premises last Sunday.

Police has made no official comment regarding the case.

Senior officials at the judiciary; Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed, Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed and Judicial Administrator Hassan Saeed are all currently in police custody for suspected involvement in the recent coup attempt.
