MP Il'ham's wife arrested

Maasha Hassan, the wife of the MP for Dhangethi constituency, Il'ham Ahmed, has been arrested.

Sources say that she was arrested after being summoned to the police to be questioned about MP Il'ham.

Sun Media has learned that Maasha Hassan was questioned in regards to her husband's whereabouts and she responded that she does not know where he is.

Police announced that they are looking for MP Il'ham on Friday and asking assistance from the public in the search.

Along with MP Il'ham, police were looking for the MP for South Mahchangolhi constituency, Abdulla Shinaan before he turned himself in.

They were being sought by the police under suspicion of accepting bribes offered to MPs.
