Palestine has won 1 – 0 against Kyrgyzstan at the first Group A match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup today, with a last-minute goal from Abdelhamid Abuhabib.
The match kicked off at 4:00 p.m. at the National Stadium in Male’, and the first half ended with no goals.
The only goal, by Palestine, came during the six-minute stoppage time at the end of the second half.
The players were given four water breaks during today’s match. The number of water breaks during a match is decided by the referee based on the weather and players’ tiredness throughout the game.
The second Group A match will begin at 9:00 p.m. at the National Stadium, in which Maldives will meet Myanmar.
Myanmar will meet Palestine in the third Group A match at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
