Two more people have been arrested in Male’ this evening for selling AFC Challenge Cup stadium tickets at black market prices.
Police said that the two men, aged 39 and 49, were arrested near the National Stadium, and have been released after obtaining statements.
Police have warned that strict action will be taken against groups that sell AFC Challenge Cup tickets at black market prices, including transactions that take place via social media and websites.
Tickets for the Palestine-Kyrgyzstan match earlier today, as well as tickets for the Maldives-Myanmar match tonight have been sold in the black market.
A man was arrested also last night in relation to this offence.
