Six arrested from Vilimale

Police have released six individuals arrested in Vilimale’ on Saturday for obstructing the police from disassembling some huts built illegally on the island.

Police media official said the six individuals were released on the day of the arrest.

According to the police, disassembly of the Vilimale' huts was carried out after discussion with the Male’ City Council. Police said they have disassembled such huts in the past.
