Criminal Court has scheduled a trial to deliver its verdict on the case against Hussain Humam, charged with the murder of Dr Afrasheem Ali, for tomorrow.

Media Official at the Criminal Court Ahmed Mohamed Manik said that the session has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Dr Afrasheem Ali was stabbed and murdered between 11:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. on the night of 1 October 2012 in his apartment building, H. Funvilu.

Humam first denied the charges, but later confessed to killing Dr Afrasheem Ali.

When asked by the judge why he earlier denied the charges, he said that it was for fear of exposing his family to danger.
