Safa Shafeeq has been elected as the president of Maldives Broadcasting Commission (Broadcom). Safa was elected to the role with the unanimous consensus of her fellow commissioners in a vote taken on Wednesday. She replaces Mariyam Waheeda – whose term at the commission expired in December.
