Help Nepal Sports Club secured the bronze medal at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Champions League, defeating the Sri Lanka Ports Authority 3-1 in the third-place playoff match.
Nepal competed in the third qualifying match of the tournament after finishing third in the league round. They were tied on points with second-placed Bishkek. Nepal’s set ratio determined their third-place ranking.
Nepal won the first two sets of the match by 25-20 and 25-15. Sri Lanka took the third set by 25-20, but Nepal sealed the match in the fourth set, winning 25-21.
Despite a strong performance in the third set, Sri Lanka’s inconsistent play and errors in the fourth set led to their defeat. Nepal’s precise attacks and solid teamwork secured the set and the match.
Pakistan’s national star Jehan Murad notably contributed, earning multiple points for Help Nepal.
