Bangladesh HC celebrates Victory Day event at MNU

The Bangladesh High Commission in the Maldives has celebrated the country's Victory Day on December 16, 2024.

The Victory Day celebratory event was held at the Maldives National University (MNU) Auditorium on Monday.

The celebratory event was attended by the Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh Md Sohel Parvez as the chief guest.

Several Bangladeshi expatriates residing in the Maldives including doctors, engineers, bankers, and others joined in the event to celebrate the country's Victory Day.

The event was attended by many other Bangladeshi expatriates, including their children as well.

The chief guest of the event and other guests paid their deep homage to the valiant freedom fighters who sacrified their lives for the freedom and independence of Bangaldesh.

The attendees also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the country's recent revolution to restore Bangladesh's democracy and justice.

The Victory Day celebratory event concluded with a cultural number with a team of Bangladeshis playing the country's iconic songs.
