President Muizzu departs on tour of Kaafu and Alifu Alifu atolls

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, on Sunday morning, has departed on a tour of Kaafu Atoll and Alifu Alifu Atoll.

The Maldivian head of state is set to visit some islands in the atoll and, time permitting, meet the island councils and Women’s Development Committees of the islands, as well as the atoll councils of the two atolls.

The President’s Office states the visit is part of a series of tours of the atolls and islands, during which the President will seek to understand developmental needs and priorities projects.

Notably, President Muizzu has set a goal to visit all the islands at least twice during his five-year term.
