Man found dead in Male’ home; no outward sign of injury

A middle-aged man was found dead on Tuesday in a home located on the Gulaabee Magu of Male’ City.

The deceased was identified by the police as Abdulla Hassan, 53, Ma. Hudhu Akiri, K. Male’.

A police spokesperson said that officers had responded to a report of a person being found unresponsive in a home in Gulaabee Magu in the morning.

He was taken to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), which reported to the police that he was already deceased when brought in.

“The hospital reported that there was no outward sign of injury,” added the police spokesperson.

The death is under investigation by the police.
