Applications open for BML scholarship fund

Bank of Maldives (BML), on Tuesday, has opened applications for ‘Scholarship Fund’.

Introduced in 2021, as part of 12 high-impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate BML’s 40th anniversary – the Scholarship Fund is an annual fully funded merit-based international scholarship aimed at developing talented young Maldivians in the area of Banking and Finance. 

Under the scholarship, three individuals will be selected to study any Undergraduate program in a banking and finance-related area such as accounting, financial technology, financial engineering, risk management, or financial reporting and analytics.

The bank will cover tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend, visa fees, book and establishment allowances, as well as air tickets for selected students.

Interested individuals can send the completed application alongside the required supporting documents to  [email protected] by November 10th.

Notably, six students are currently studying abroad as part of the program as the bank marks the third consecutive year of the scholarship.
