Saeed replaces Zeena as PSM’s managing director

Mohamed Saeed has been appointed as the managing director of the Public Service Media (PSM).

Saeed told Sun that he was appointed to the post on Saturday night.

The appointment came within hours after Zeena Zahir resigned from the post.

Saeed previously served as a permanent secretary and director general at the Education Ministry. He also served on the board of Aasandha.

Saeed had previously appeared in comedy shows aired on Television Maldives (TVM).

He has a Masters in Business Administration from University of Bolton, England, and an Advanced Diploma in Television Production and Direction Techniques.

Zeena confirmed she tendered her resignation at around 04:00 pm on Saturday, but declined to specify a reason.
