The clinical services of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) will be closed on Wednesday, which has been declared a government holiday by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
In a statement, IGMH said that the specialty OPD and other clinical services available at Dharumavantha Hospital, IGMH and Vilimale’ hospital will be closed on Wednesday.
All emergency services, however, will be operational at 24-hour basis, IGMH added.
IGMH also advised contacting them at 333-5335 to make inquiries about its services.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu declared Wednesday as a government holiday due to the severe weather conditions and following the heavy rainfall on Tuesday that had caused floods in the capital city.
President Muizzu also formed a special task force on Tuesday evening to monitor and assist the public due to the weather.
