MMA seeks five MDs, salary at MVR 50,000

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has made an announcement seeking five managing directors for the authority following a structure reform.

In an announcement on the government gazette on Thursday, MMA said it was seeking skilled, capable and sincere individuals as five managing directors who are interested in working with sincerity and integrity.

It was stressed that members of both genders will be equally regarded for these posts.

MMA is seeking managing directors in the following areas:

- Monetary Policy, Research and Statistics

- Financial Stability

- Banking Operations

- Corporate Services

- Financial Sector Development

As per the announcement, appointments for these posts will be made for a two-year term of five years and the salary ranges between MVR 50,000 and MVR 55.000.

The structural reform to MMA was brought by its newly appointed Governor Ahmed Munavvar who seeks to modernize the central bank and improve its operational efficiency.
