Foreigner arrested from Hulhumale’ with 48 beer cans

A foreigner has been arrested from Hulhumale’ on Sunday night while in possession of 48 beer cans.

Police said the foreigner was arrested at approximately 20:00pm tonight, near Amin Avenue.

No further details regarding the arrestee have been disclosed by the Police.

However, the case is under further investigation.

The arrest comes amid a crackdown on illegal migrants in the Maldives.
