SATA Awards 2024 slated for September 20th at Kathmandu

2024’s South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has been slated for September 20^th.

The highly anticipated award ceremony which recognizes and rewards outstanding achievements in South Asian hospitality will be held at Aloft Kathmandu, Nepal this year.

Supported by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Hotels Association of Nepal (HAN), festivities leading up to the award ceremony will kick off with a cocktail event at The Malla Hotel in Kathmandu on July 19^th.  The event is designated as a prime networking opportunity, to foster connections among key players in the business, providing a platform for meaningful collaborations.

Partners for this year’s SATA, marking the eighth edition, were announced on June 10^th.

Previous editions of SATA have been held at Sri Lanka’s Mount Lavinia, Galle City, India’s Mumbai and Bengaluru and Maldives’ Addu City and Male’ atoll.  One edition was virtually during the pandemic; a strong demonstration of SATA's adaptability and commitment to celebrating excellence in challenging times.

SATA says this year’s events will set the stage for another year of innovation and growth in the industry, reinforcing its role as a premier platform for promoting and celebrating the best in South Asian hospitality.
