SATA 2024 and partners announced

The biggest hospitality award in the South Asian region, the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2024 has been announced, along with its partners.

SATA is an annual hospitality and tourism industry awards, recognizing individuals and businesses in the South Asian region, for their exceptional standard and services.

This year marks the eighth edition of the prestigious awards event since its inception, first introduced in 2016. For the eighth edition, two more awards - the Visitors’ Choice Award and Special Recognition Award - have been added.

Gulf Craft, a prominent luxury yacht manufacturer, has signed on as the Platinum Partner, with Hawks Pvt Ltd, Hotels and Resorts Investment (HRI) Maldives, and the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) signed on as the Gold Partners of the event.

Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives is the official Insurance Partner, with Manhattan Business Hotel signed on as the Hospitality Partner, and Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) signed on as the endorsement partner of SATA this year.

Industry pioneers and expert judges select the award recipients of SATA, with the awards divided into Best Domestic Destination, Best International Destination, Best Adventure Destination, and Best Emerging Destination among other categories.

In recent years, the SATA has become increasingly competitive and many contenders have vying for recognition.
