Sun Aqua Spa wins South Asia's Leading Spa Brand Award

South Asia's Leading Wellness and Spa Brand Award have been won by the Sun Aqua Spa.

The award was won by Sun Aqua Spa at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) held in Sri Lanka over the weekend. The awards recognize and award the best in the tourism industry of South Asia.

Sun Aqua Spa is located on Sun Aqua Iru Veli and Sun Aqua Vilu Reef in the Maldives and is run as part of the Sun Aqua brand in the Sun Siyam Resort collection. Other than the Leading Spa Award, Sun Siyam Irufushi also won the Leading Family Resort in the Maldives. 

This is not the first time that the Sun Aqua Spa has won awards for its excellence. It has also won awards at the World Travel Awards and the World Luxury Spa Awards.

Sun Aqua Vilu Reef provides six treatment pavilions at the Sun Aqua Spa. It also provides Hydrotherapy and Aryuvedic treatments. Sun Aqua Iru Veli has seven overwater pavilions with numerous treatments as well. 

Sun Siyam Irufushi is also an award-winning property at the World Travel Awards. Maldives won the most number of awards at the SATA awards 2019. The awards are organized by HighRise and were first started in 2016.
