Hinna Khalid appointed as Home Ministry’s new PS

Hinna Khalid has been appointed as the new Permanent Secretary (PS) at the Home Ministry.

The appointment was made in a ceremony attended by Home Minister Ali Ihusan and top officials from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Thursday.

Hinna had previously served as the spokesperson at the Home Ministry.

She also served as an undersecretary at the President’s Office during former president Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik’s administration.

Hinna has a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She also holds a Diploma in Social Science Research, and a Diploma in PHC Management.
