The biggest kite surfing event, Red Bull Wind Riders returns to the Maldives once again.
The five-day event was held at Baa atoll Goidhoo, which included high-octane event legs including the "Twin Tip Racing" and "Freestyle", said Red Bull Maldives.
The popular energy drink's Maldivian wing further said valuable prizes await the winners of this challenge.
Participants in the event will be facing off each other under the instructions and surfing tips provided by pro kite surfer and Red Bull athlete Louka Pitot.
Kit surfing enthusiasts and those willing to learn the sport had the opportunity to showcase their skills or learn as well during the event, Red Bull Maldives added.
The competitors were gauged with points for their performances in both racing and freestyle events, with the Wind Rider 2024 title bestowed on the top scorer.
The debut edition of the Red Bull Wind Riders was held in 2022 at Goidhoo, in which Hassan Mahir, then only just 18 years of age, took the title of Wind Rider.
Red Bull has already opened registration window for interested kite surfers to participate in the next year's edition of the Wind Riders challenge.
