Four Maldivian ministers are presently in Saudi Arabia on official visits.
The four ministers in Saudi are; Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, Finance Minister Dr. Mohamed Shafeeg and Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer.
During his ongoing visit, Islamic Minister Shaheem attended a Supreme Council meeting of the Muslim World League and met with the Secretary General of the Muslim World League.
He also met with Kuwait Zakat House's Secretary General. As per the Islamic Ministry, both of them discussed further developing Maldives Zakat House during this meeting.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Shafeeg has met with senior officials of international financial agencies including OPEC Fund, Saudi Development Fund and Islamic Development Fund.

Both Economic Minister Saeed and Foreign Minister Zameer are in Saudi to participate in the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development.
Foreign Ministry states the meeting will bring together over 700 leaders from all sectors to engage in meaningful dialogue to address shared global challenges.
