Two additional generators have been brought to Kulhufhussfushi City which has faced power outages throughout this month.
Fenaka Corporation, in a post on X on Tuesday, said two generators, to improve issues to the electricity network in the city, have been brought to the city. Preparations have been made to install the generators, they added.

Kulhudhuffushi residents faced various difficulties as a result of power outages last week as well.
The city experienced the recent power cut, first on last Monday after the control modules of three out of the seven generators fried due to a transformer malfunction.
Following this, Fenaka cut power from various locations of the city in accordance with a schedule in a bid to avoid overloading.
Earlier, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had said that the electricity services in multiple islands were in poor condition when the current administration came to power. He added that several powerhouses in different islands were in rundown condition, and said his government was actively working on replacing old power generators in the relevant islands.
