Discussions held on seeking technical assistance from former police heads

Discussions have been held on seeking technical assistance from former heads of Maldives Police Service (MPS) who have retired honorably.

Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusan met with former commissioners and deputy commissioners of MPS who have retired honorably on Monday night.

The meeting was also attended by incumbent Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau among other incumbent heads of MPS.

The meeting saw discussions on ways technical assistance can be sought for MPS from former officers on a strategic level.

Some of the former heads of MPS that attended the meeting included former commissioners of police Mohamed Hameed, Hamdhoon Rasheed and Hussain Waheed.
