Maldives chef delegation leaves for ITB Berlin fair

Maldivian chefs' delegation has left for Germany to take part in the largest tourism trade fair in the world, the ITB Berlin 2024.

The two-day event, commencing on March 04, 2024, will bring together tourism industry stakeholders, investors, and affiliates for netoworking, and seeking prospective opportunities.

The Maldivian chefs' delegation consists of notable sous-chef and recipient of multiple culinary accolades Ibrahim Zuhair, Aminath Lahufa and Junaina Jamsheed, two next generation pastry chefs.

At this year's ITB Berlin, the Maldivian chefs' team will prepare and serve traditional local delicacies while showcase the preparation of local cuisines at a live station.

More than 106 representatives from over 100 tourism industry partners will showcase Maldivian tourism products and services at the stand for Maldives in the event.

The first Masterchef of the Maldives and MMPRC Board Member Maha Naseer will supervise a special gala evening, organized under the Visit Maldives brand, to cater to over 500 guests at the two-day event.
