Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives has announced its Ramadan Promotion concurrent with contests on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
At the press conference held to unveil this year's Ramadan Promotion, Allied Insurance also introduced a new Islamic Insurance plan for home or household appliances.
Customers can claim MVR 650,000 worth in insurance per annum with a premium of MVR 600 paid under the plan. Customers choosing the luxury plan will receive a complimentary gift pack equivalent to the package they subscribe to.
Allied Insurance reports the promotion, launched to increase awareness on protection of homes and appliances will run until the end of Ramadan.
The plans can be subscribed from Allied's online platforms, including their app or My Allied portal.
Customers can redeem their complimentary gift pack from Allied's customer front office during official working hours.
Besides the promotion, Allied Insurance announced multiple contests on Sunday, which include;
Contestants may post videos of their hymns on Facebook with the hashtag #AlliedMadhaha from first of Ramadan to the 30th of the month.
A special judging panel will be scoring the videos based on different factors.
The contestant posting the best hymn video will receive an Apple iPad. The contest is open for children below the age of 12.
The brand new #InsureLifeWithAllied contest on TikTok is required to submit video presentations explaining their opinion on the hashtag of the contest using creative ideas. Three winners of the contest will receive a cash prize of MVR 3,000.
The aim of this new contest is to promote awareness on life insurance policies and schemes using interesting approaches, and to create interest among consumers towards protection of their assets.
Participation in the contest is open from February 25, 2024 until March 25.
