Luwaiz appointed as Allied Insurance’s new MD

Hussain Luwaiz, who has worked at Allied Insurance for over 21 years, has been appointed as the company’s new managing director.

Allied announced the appointment on Sunday.

Luwaiz joined Allied in 2002. He gradually moved up the ranks over the years, and was serving as the manager of Allied’s Claims Section prior to his new appointment.

Luwaiz received his education from New Zealand’s Institute of Insurance and Finance and Malaysia’s Insurance Institute.

He replaces the company’s former managing director Mohamed Shafaz.
