President nominates three names for CSC membership

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, on Tuesday, nominated the names of three individuals for the vacant membership post at the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The President’s Office opened applications for CSC membership in December following the expiration of former member Fathimath Amira’s term.

The names of three from the individuals who submitted applications for the post were forwarded to the parliament on Tuesday:

• Abdul Haseef Ismail – Dhafthar RS. 7505
• Fathimath Habeeba – Dhafthar RS. 9472
• Mariyam Shahidha – Ma. Forest

Parliament Speaker Mohamed Aslam, on Tuesday, decided to forward the names to the Parliament’s Committee on Independence Institutions for review.

CSC, composed of five members, presently has four members. They are;

• Ibrahim Nasih – President
• Ibrahim Rasheed – Vice President
• Mohamed Farushath – Member
• Fathimath Shareef – Member
