All non-executive members of the Bank of Maldives (BML)’s board of directors have been dismissed, confirms the national bank.

A spokesperson from the BML told Sun on Thursday night that the bank has received a letter from the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), informing the bank of the dismissal of all its non-executive directors.

Those dismissed reportedly includes Yooshau Saeed, the bank’s chairperson.

BML said the changes will not cause any disruption to the bank’s services.
