Bank of Maldives (BML) has added local gift vouchers and miles exchange to the redemption options available on BML Rewards - the exclusive loyalty program for its credit card customers.
BML announced that starting Sunday, in addition to hotels, flights and gift cards, BML Rewards customers will be able to exchange rewards points for airline frequent flyer miles on several airlines, including Qatar Airways, Air Asia and SriLankan Airlines, as well as vouchers from local retailers including Mango, Adidas, Miniso, Thai Wok, Cocoa Trees, Hameedia and Sonee Sports.
BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Karl Stumke said the bank was delighted to add new redemption options to their loyalty program.
“We are delighted to add new redemption options to our BML Rewards program, offering customers even greater choice when redeeming their earned points. Our loyalty program continues to be the biggest of its kind in the country, with redemption options that range from flights and hotels to gift cards and now, even airline miles,” he said.
Personal Banking customers with American Express, Visa and Mastercard credit cards are eligible to register for BML Rewards.
Once registered, customers earn points for purchases on credit cards that can be redeemed for a range of benefits at airlines, hotels, car rentals and multiple gift cards from leading brands including Amazon, Google Play, Apple and more, in addition to the new local brands added Sunday.
