Cake Donors donate over MVR 500,000 to aid Palestine

Cake Donors have raised more than MVR 500,000 from two events to help the Palestinian people and donated it to the International Aid Campaign (IAC).

In a post about the events, Cake Donors said that the total amount of money raised from the two events was MVR 596,567.50. Their first event was held on the 17th of last month in both Male' and Hulhumale. The event raised MVR 347,271.25, according to Cake Donors.

The second event of the Cake Donors was held last Saturday in collaboration with Urbanco. The amount raised from this event was MVR 246,295.25.

Cake Donors said the success of these two events shows the strong love for the Palestinian people in the hearts of the Maldivians. They also said that this is the result of the hard work of the Cake Donors team and the friendship of the generous donors.

In addition, Cake Donors said the team is still working to conduct a series of activities to help Palestine.

There are various activities being held in different parts of the Maldives and all the proceeds are being donated to Palestine.

More than 8,700 Palestinians have been killed and more than 22,200 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
