Two arrested for damaging Maafannu Police Station

Two people have been arrested for damaging the Maafannu Police Station, while they were in custody under suspicion of committing a crime.

A 22-year-old Maldivian male and a 45-year-old Maldivian male have been arrested in connection with the incident.

They are accused of breaking the partition with their feet and damaging property while they were present at the Maafannu Police Station.

The two were remanded in custody for three days.

The Criminal Court order shows that both men have criminal records.
