All of Hulhumale Phase II experiences power outage

Electricity has gone out in Hulhumale Phase II.

A media official from the State Electric Company (STELCO) said that the reason for the power cut in Hulhumale Phase II is an Earth fault.

He further said that they have now identified the fault and are working on restoring electricity to the area affected.

The electricity to Hulhumale Phase II was cut in a similar way before too.

Usually, this occurs due to damage to a cable during some kind of construction or work.
