Martyr Hussain Adam’s father passes away

Martyr Hussain Adam’s father, Adam Mohamed, has passed away.

Mohamed Dhawoodh, a member of HDh. Kulhudhuffushi Council, said Adam Mohamed passed away sometime today. He was 89.

Dhawoodh detailed Adam Mohamed, who had always lived in Kulhudhuffushi, passed away after a long illness.

His funeral prayer will be held after Isha prayer on Monday night, at Kulhudhuffushi’s Masjid al-Halaarath.

Hussain Adam died at the age of 19, while serving in the National Security Service (NSS), as he was returning fire to protect the main headquarters of the NSS as Sri Lank’s Tamil Tiger mercenaries crept up Male’ on November 3, 1988, in a terrorist attack.
