Local musician Sinu passes away after long illness

Local musician Ahmed Sinadh Mohamed (Sinu) has passed away on Thursday.

A friend who Sinu who spoke with Sun said he passed away on Thursday morning at ADK Hospital while receiving treatment for a stroke.

His funeral prayer has not been scheduled yet.

Sinu had been receiving treatment for kidney disease since 2019. His kidney failed two years after the diagnosis, following which he had been undergoing dialysis.

Fundraising events were held in January and February to raise funds required for Sinu’s treatment.

Sinu is a talented drummer and sound engineer. He first gained popularity as the beloved drummer of the band ‘1 Knight Stand’. He has worked as a sound engineer for Official Event and Hub Event.
