Maldivians can now go to Kyrgyzstan without a visa.

The Foreign Ministry said in a tweet today that visa-free travel to Kyrgyzstan will be allowed from today.

The foreign ministry further said that visa-free travel to Kyrgyzstan was made possible under an agreement signed between Kyrgyzstan and Maldives on September 23 last year.

Maldivians can stay in Kyrgyzstan for a duration of 30 days as long as they have a valid passport.

Although you can travel to the country without a visa, you will need a visa if you are staying in the country for a long period of time, for example, to study, work or do business, the ministry’s tweet said.

While visa-free travel to Kyrgyzstan was made available today, Maldives was included in the list of countries that can travel to Saudi visa-free three weeks ago
